// TWILIO

Twilio: telephony that scales with your call volume.

Twilio is the telephony layer underneath most of our voice and messaging work — the carrier-grade plumbing that connects a phone call or text to your AI ops layer. It's what lets a voice agent answer a real number, a confirmation text reach a real handset, and every event flow back into your systems with a status you can trust.

Getting telephony right is unglamorous and essential. Numbers have to be provisioned or ported correctly, SMS has to be registered and compliant, and every call and message needs reliable status tracking. We handle the carrier-level details — provisioning, registration, signature verification, and failover — so the visible systems like voice, reminders, and routing just work, and your team never has to think about the plumbing underneath them.

Numbers, SIP, and SMS

We provision the right mix of Twilio numbers for your business — local numbers per market, toll-free where it fits, and SIP trunks when you're connecting an existing PBX or VoIP system. The voice agent answers on these numbers, and outbound calls and texts originate from sender identities mapped to the correct brand or location.

On the messaging side, we configure SMS for confirmations, reminders, and two-way conversations, with separate sender IDs per location so replies route back to the right team. Webhook signatures are verified on every inbound event so nothing spoofed reaches your systems. For businesses with several brands or markets, we keep numbers, caller IDs, and messaging campaigns cleanly separated so reporting and customer experience stay consistent across each line.

  • Local, toll-free, and SIP configuration
  • Per-location SMS sender identities
  • Two-way SMS routed to the right team
  • Verified webhook signatures on inbound events

Status callbacks and reliability

Twilio's status callbacks tell you what actually happened to every call and message — ringing, answered, completed, failed, delivered, undelivered. We wire these into your ops layer so a failed delivery surfaces immediately and a completed call triggers the right downstream action, rather than disappearing.

Failover routing keeps you covered when something goes wrong. If the voice agent is unreachable or a region has trouble, calls fall back to a defined path — another agent, a forwarding number, or a human — so no caller ever hits a dead end. Recording retention follows a schedule you control.

  • Call and message status callbacks into your systems
  • Failover routing so no caller hits a dead end
  • Delivery and failure surfacing instead of silent drops
  • Configurable call-recording retention

Porting, forwarding, and compliance

You usually don't need a new phone number. We either port your existing numbers into Twilio or set up forward-on-no-answer so your current line rings through to the AI agent only when your team can't pick up — whichever is less disruptive to how you operate today.

Messaging carries real rules. We handle A2P 10DLC registration, brand and campaign vetting, and TCPA-compliant opt-in and opt-out so your texts actually deliver and stay on the right side of carrier and legal requirements. Deliverability is monitored, and consent records are kept.

Which services it powers

Twilio is the foundation under our AI voice agents and our SMS and email automation — the calls the agent answers and the texts your customers receive all run through it. It also feeds usage data into our dashboards so finance can see call and message volume at a glance.

Because telephony underpins so much, we stand it up carefully and early, with the porting and compliance work scheduled so go-live is smooth and your numbers never go dark.
